Our course levels are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF) as prepared by the Council of Europe. Its main aim is to provide a method of assessing and teaching which applies throughout Europe for the validation of language ability. The reference levels (see below) have become widely accepted as the standard for grading an individual's language. The courses of various providers are comparable at an international level.
The four basics of language – Listening, Reading, Speaking, and Writing – are included in each course. Courses marked with either “+” or “++” are suitable for those with some previous knowledge.
